Head Of Audit Operational Change - Retail Banking

Head of Audit position has arisen for a senior audit professional to join a top tierUKbanking group's change function, to head up the team, with a focus on relationship management and delivery. Head of Audit This team will be responsible for advising on key risks and controls for the delivery on the internal projects across the senior audit stakeholder network. This will include legal, regulatory and mandatory risks and controls advice on programme management, programme assurance and programme delivery. The types of projects are large, and will require people with the experience of auditing £10m+ projects (as the projects will also be of similar sizes). Audit assignments typically last between 30 - 70 days. Head of Audit Day to day responsibilities include representation at audit committee, coaching junior members of audit staff, planning audits and overseeing the work of colleagues. There will also be a high level of interaction of other heads of audit in the group matrix, which the successful candidate will need to fully integrate with. Head of Audit To be considered, you will need to be fully qualified ACA, ACCA with experience of auditing transformation projects and assignments. You will need to be able to articulate successful stakeholder relationship management skills, and have the experience of auditing large change projects from a senior level.
