Our financial services client based in London is looking for and experienced Head of Audit and Governance who will be responsible for defining and driving all activities related to Resourcing. This includes responsibility for governance activities related to satisfactory control environment and robust risk management.

Essential skills and experience:

- Strong audit & compliance experience
- Excellent governance experience
- Financial services/Banking background
- Ability to analyse and improve controls within processes
- Ideally some Resourcing experience
- Expert knowledge of Policy design and implementation
- Able to recognise and address risk in a highly regulated environment
- Skilled in the design and execution of audit plans (Preferable)
- Line Management experience
- Business partner skills

This is a 3 months contract initially paying £650-£700pd.

This role can move to a permanent post for the right person.
