Head of Architecture - London

A multinational reporting and analysis company with an impressive European presence is looking for a Head of Architecture / Lead Enterprise Architect to take responsibility for theirLondonbased Technical Architect EMEA Team. The successful Head of Architecture will take a leading role in global IT strategy with my clients global business needs, and will take line management responsibility for a highly skilled team of technical architects. In addition to this they will be the lead technical design authority, and oversee the design of large scale infrastructure solutions. Other responsibilities will include the definition and maintenance of the technical roadmap for key initiatives and extensive involvement in vendor selection as part of my clients re-architecture. The fulfil the above responsibilities the successful Head of Architecture will have excellent experience designing, building & implementing enterprise scale datawarehouse and BI architectures, and have a strong knowledge of relevant related designs, patterns and technologies within this domain. Cloud based infrastructures, SOA, PaaS and SaaS environments would also be desirable in applicants. Due to the line management responsibilities of this position the successful candidate will have experience managing and leading teams of technical architects. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to join a multinational organisation which is undergoing a significant re-architecture of its internal systems, and have significant input into this re-architecture through their own ideas and designs.
