Head of Analytics - Qualified Actuary - Bristol or London - £1k/day

This position as Head of Analytics for a global leader in legal services, will be responsible for the design and implementation of the MI structure for the entire Insurance practice with a view to developing their offering to their insurance clients.

As the Head of Analytics your key responsibilities will include:

- Experience in developing and implementing underwriting systems
- Part/Fully qualified actuary
- Design, drive and implement the MI structure
- Develop innovative business data reporting
- Establish the data relevant to the business for capture/reporting and recommend creative solutions around this
- Establish market trends and forecast future trends
- Liaise with internal MI and IT functions to see projects through to delivery

Skills & Experience required:

- Extensive knowledge and experience of general insurance through working with GI industry leaders directly or via a reputable consulting firm
- Strong SQL and Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to link and spot trends in data from different sources
- Excellent consulting and client-facing experience with a strong commercial acumen

This is an excellent position to build and develop an insurance practice through the creation of new and innovative MI reporting structures and standards.
