HCA Band 2 HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS /MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT WORKERS

Hays Healthcare is now recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)/Mental Health Support Workers for roles in NHS Units across Bradford. We can place candidates in a number of Trusts across a wide area so flexibility and own transport will be highly regarded.

The role can accommodate early and late shifts, 7 days a week to the right candidate who has previous NHS experience. I can also offer advanced and block bookings and will only secure work in accordance to your desired work schedule.

I am looking for a self-motivated individual who can work effectively as a team member and has experience in challenging situations. The types of duties include, washing and dressing, serving patients meals and assisting with feeding when necessary, helping people to mobilise, toileting, bed making, generally assisting with patients' overall comfort, monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight.

The successful candidate must have 6 months work experience within a NHS Hospital in the last 2 years. Experience in a Mental Health setting (low or medium secure units) and NVQ Level 2 or 3.
