I have an urgent Contract Electrical Harness Design Engineer requirement within a Global leading Defence Engineering Company.

My client is looking for a Contract Electrical Harness Design Engineer to develop, design and support electrical harness assemblies and capturing harness requirements using DOORs.

The suitable candidate will have these responsibilities:
*Definition of bespoke cable designs for power, RF, signal and data transmissions
*Interpretation of sub-systems specifications, generation of 2D electrical schematics.
*Design and support the development of wire harness detail and assembly solutions
*Liaise with customers to resolve technical queries

Required skills:
*Experience in specification, design and manufacture of electrical cable systems
*Design knowledge of EMC grounding, shielding and gasketing, connectors
*Specification and design of fibre optic harnesses
*Experience on using ZUKEN E3 Series for Harness Design

It is important that the ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in a structured development process environment with a formal qualification.

You must be prepared to undergo a Security Clearance vetting process.
