Hardware Tester - Edinburgh - 8 Weeks

My client, based in central Edinburgh have an urgent requirement for a contractor to assist with some Hardware Testing. They require an experienced Hardware Test Engineer to join the team for 8 weeks to test one of their core products. They will ideally interview over the telephone this week with the view to have someone started ASAP. Experience Required: * Testing of Devices (ie not software) * A background in hardware device testing and / or hardware design experience Preferences: * 2+ years experience in a Test / QA role working, hands-on, with complex firmware and hardware products. * Familiarity with one or more of ISO9000, ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Familiar with modern software development methods and understanding of where the corresponding test preparation, test execution and test completion fits in.
