Hardware Test Engineer - Contract - Minnesota

My Client, a leading Medical Device Company based inMinneapolis, now has a fantastic contract opportunity for a Hardware Test Engineer.

Due to a period of increased growth, the 'on-market' products division is seeking to expand the functionality of its market leading Cardiovascular device. In order to achieve this goal, my client is looking to hire a Hardware Test Engineer to ensure product quality and adherence to FDA standards. This is a 6 month contract opportunity paying $40 - $50 Per Hour with a high likelihood of extension.

The Hardware Test Engineer will be responsible for authoring Verification Protocols against product requirements and FDA rules. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Verification Activities, authoring Test Reports and working with the Engineering team to develop testable requirements.

Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:

- 7+ years Hardware Testing Experience
- Previous experience of working within a Medical Device Company
- Working knowledge and demonstrable experience of Test Engineering principles and product test techniques
- Experience in creating standard test equipment and systems in accordance with cGMP's
- Ability to develop test software utilizing off-the-shelf commercial software test too
