Hardware Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a HARDWARE TECHNICIAN to join our client in Morrisville, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hardware Tech will lift unit onto table (2 person lift since it's up to 50lb)
- Hardware Tech will remove 2-3 cables from the unit
- Install new cables and connect system to monitor, keyboard, install hard drives, then run test, evaluate pass/no pass
- Disconnect test equipment and return until to normal state including install top cover
- Repack unit into original packaging (detailed instructions with photos will be provided prior to start)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to stand for long periods of time

ABLE TO LIFE 50 LBS (UNITS ARE QUITE HEAVY - BUT SHOULD UTILIZE A 2 PER LIFT METHOD)
- Able to use a screwdriver properly

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Familiar with system integration and cable removal, installation
- Familiar with computer connections to monitor, keyboard or system test configuration
