Hardware Support Specialist

Beacon Hill Technologies has an 18 month contract opportunity for a Hardware Support Specialist.

Job Duties Include:

- Perform Windows Server 2008R2 setup and configuration using established procedures and checklists
- Execute processes to restore and create system images
- Execute processes to prepare and label backup media
- Work with standard file transfer utilities (ie FTP)
- Accurately manage multiple simultaneous configuration processes
- Maintain accurate status reports to indicate progress

Educational Requirements:

- Associate's Degree in the computer field or the equivalent technical training and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years practical computer hardware experience.
- Industry certifications including A+, Server+, and Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.

Other Requirements:

- Proven installing and configuring operating systems and software
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 and Windows PE
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Exhibit strong organization and time-management skills
- Must be self-directed and work with a minimum of supervision
- Skilled with both verbal and written communications
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment with strict deadlines
