Our client is a Swiss pharmaceutical company, based in Basel. In order to reinforce their team, Swisslinx is seeking an English and German speaker Hardware Support Specialist for a 6 months contract, starting on 01.06.2013.
As a Hardware Support Specialist your responsibilities would be the following:
- Work with HPSM ticket system (track, document, implement)
- Allocate and prepare hardware for deployment
- Deliver and install IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests)
- Reclaim hardware process
- Handling of the repair process
- Inventory management
- Request HW via ARIBA
- Be a point of contact for HW pool customers and service providers
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile:
- Ideally high school diploma or informatics education
- Microsoft Certified Solution Expert is an advantage
- 2+ years technical experience in a desk side support position
- Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment
- Experience with Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools
- Experience with one Ticketing tool
- Strong communication skills and customer focused behaviour
- Experience with ITIL Foundation
- Very good English and German skills
