Projektbeschreibung
This is a 40 hour a week on site position. *TEMP TO PERM POSITION*
SKILL SET SHOULD INCLUDE:
- Professional and clear customer communication skills via email and telephone
- Punctuality: Support hours are 8-5 with 1hr lunch
- Minimum 8 years of employment in the IT industry providing Hardware Service support
- Hands-on experience in service call ticketing systems (Remedy, Clearvision, or other, etc.)
- Hands-on experience shipping/receiving parts, parts inventory and tracking management
- Hands-on experience ordering warranty parts though the OEM manufacturers
- Hands-on experience working for a "company" diagnosing and replacing parts/hardware on IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks, HP Desktops, HP Network Multifunction Printers, HP Proliant Servers, HP Blade Servers.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage service calls in an efficient, timely and professional manor
TECHNICIAN SHOULD HAVE SOME OR ALL CURRENT OEM CERTIFICATIONS AND TECH IDS THAT ARE LISTED BELOW:
- CompTia A+ (Mandatory)
- IBM/Lenovo Notebooks (T61 and newer)
- HP Desktops (DC7700 and newer)
- HP/Compaq Proliant Servers (several models to current DL385 G6)
- HP Proliant Blade Server
- HP Black and White network printers
- HP Color network printers (HP5000 series)
- HP Multifunction network printers (MFP9000 series)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable transportation to support offsite customers as needed
- Ability to accept "on call" after hours Server Support service duties
