Hardware Specialist

HARDWARE SPECIALIST REDMOND, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, installing, configuring and managing new network equipment and devices including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and load balancers. S/He will be responsible for critical internal and edge network devices.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

- 5+ years of relevant experience with large-scale services.
- Technologies required:

Cisco IOS, FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, SolarWinds, Syslog - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, QoS, access control lists, load balancing, Firewalls and network traffic analysis
- Proven network design and troubleshooting capabilities
- Hands on experience with networking equipment such as Switches, Routers, and hubs.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating Firewalls and maintaining network ACLs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED CANDIDATES HAVE:

- Strong project management skills and proven ability to drive projects to completion
- Experience working in a highly complex and dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of ITIL and/or MOF a plus
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating IDS/IPS
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating DoS/DDoS alerting and mitigation systems
- One or more CISSP, ISSAP, CCIE Security, GCIA, or GCFW Certifications
