Proteus Europe is searching for a Hardware Project Leader/Manager for one of our clients based in Belgium.
Our Client:-
Our Client is a public service provider based in Brussels, Belgium. They work in the infrastructure side of Public service and as such have a reputation for consistently delivering reliable services as thousands of people in Belgium depend upon them every single day.
Your New role:-
We are looking for a Hardware Project leader who has a solid commercial experience in leading low level hardware projects at an Embedded level. Ideally a background in RF would be a good asset as our client is looking to develop a wireless application.
A proven background in team leading and management is required with excellent communication skills along with the ability to get a project delivered on time.
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
- Hardware Project Management experience.
- 5 to 10 years relevant hands-on hardware design experience with preferably 2+ years in xDSL/LTE/xPON gateways, WLAN Routers, set-top-boxes or tablets.
- Strong general RF background and solid experience in high-speed PCB design and RF circuitry.
- Proven hardware design experience and expertise on at least 2 of following RF interfaces: 2.4GHz/5GHz WLAN, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave, LTE, antennas.
- Knowledgeable on co-existence issues and solution related to the above mentioned RF technologies
Desirable Skills:-
- Familiar with Ethernet 10/100/1G, VOIP, USB1.1/2.0/3.0 designs and standards.
- Experienced in the regulatory aspects (EMC, EMI, ESD, surges,) of a design.
- Experience in managing an external ODM-partner or major component sub-contractor is a strong plus.
- Masters degree (or similar by experience) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
