Hardware Engineer - System on Chip

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a HARDWARE (HW) EMULATION ENGINEER - FPGA to join our client in Austin, TX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Hardware Engineer will focus on the characterization of Low power SOCS (System on Chip).
- Hardware Engineer will also be responsible for overall execution relating to skewing VOLTAGE.
- Duties may also include execution of TEMPERATURE AND/OR FREQUENCY WITHIN PRODUCT DEFINITIONS.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS EE, CS OR RELATED SUBJECT MATTER.
- Solid knowledge of CPU/SoC architecture, system environment, system validation and debugging
- Knowledge and skill with debug lab equipment including Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and voltage measurements devices
- Basic SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND SCRIPTING SKILLS.
- Basic PC ARCHITECTURE AND ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Perl, Python and C# knowledge.
- Data analysis experience.
