Hardware Design Verification Engineer Job

HARDWARE DESIGN VERIFICATION ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh 's client located in Rochester, NY.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- LabView 10

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support design verification testing on the multichannel, RF systems.
- Testing will include automated testing with LabVIEW 10 and the execution of manual tests utilizing test equipment to include PXA's, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Digital Multi-Meters, Impedance Analyzers, and Power Meters.
- Will be expected to understand the functionality of these test and measurement devices and understand the concepts of LabVIEW 10 to interpret and execute automated and manual testing based on a list of tests provided by manager.
- Will validate the results and will save the data to a predefined scorecard. If defects are found, the contractor will be expected to report the failures using the predefined JIRA database system.
- Will be expected to interface with development and management staff and report status on a project on a daily/weekly basis.
- Will be required to create automated tests which are not already developed using the LabView environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Electrical Engineering degree with at least eight (8) years of experience.
- Experience testing bench level wireless systems.
- Wireless test equipment background to include: PXA's, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Digital Multi-Meters, Impedance Analyzers, and Power Meters.
- Experience with LabVIEW 10 or greater.
