Hardware Design Engineer - Firmware Engineer - FPGA Design Engineer - CONTRACT

Location: West Midlands

Duration: Initially 6-12 months with long term extentions likely for 1-2 years+

My client is urgently seeking 2 x additional experienced Contract Hardware electronics/Firmware electronics engineers to design interfaces and write Verilog firmware to enable communications and control between bespoke equipment. The project involves completion of firmware design, coding, prototyping, build and evaluation testing as well as documentation.

It is expected that the Hardware/Firmware Design Engineers/FPGA Designers will have a proven record in all aspects of hardware and firmware design with several years "hands on" experience and the ability to work quickly and efficiently within a multi-skilled engineering team. The successful applicant will work under the guidance of an experienced engineer with overall responsibility for the electronics package associated with the project

Experience Require:
* Hardware/FPGA design using Actel/Altera and XiLinx devices (essential)
* Use of Verilog on real projects (essential)
* Minimum of three years experience (essential)
* Team working skills
