Hardware Design Engineer

Our client is a global engineering organisation and currently require a Hardware Design Engineer to come in and support a current increase in business demand.

The ideal Hardware Design Engineer will have experience in digital design of a hand held battery powered product and be Degree qualified preferably in electronics, however computer hardware or any software related degree will be beneficial.

They will be required to carry out the creation of new designs and modification of existing designs to incorporate microprocessors, board power supplies in a product environment-please note this is not FPGA/VDHL Microprocessor work.

The engineers duties will also include design and development of a product from concept to manufacture.
This will involve product specification, electronic design, EMC design verification and validation.
An additional preference will be for the Hardware Design Engineer to have a soldiering experience with the ability to carry out soldering of 0603 or 0402 size components.
