Hardware Design Engineer

My client, a world leader within the Rail industry is currently looking for 2 talented FPGA Digital Electronics Design Engineers to join them at the beginning of the New Year. These Engineers will ideally come from a Safety Critical Background within either Rail, Aerospace or Automation.

The role will be dedicated to supporting and contributing towards the development of new products to an esteemed UK client with a long-term development plan. To assist in this the products developed will be of an FPGA and VHDL nature.

The specific skills required for this contract are as follows:
* High Speed Digital
* FPGA Design
* VHDL Development
* Experience of working with PCB Layout Design Engineers
* Experience of developing products within an EMC environment

To assist with these skills candidates would be at an advantage if they were able to contribute one or more of the following desirable skills:
* Experience of working in a Safety Critical environment
* Knowledge of Lattice platforms
* Experience of using the AHDL toolset
* Signal Integrity Experience
* Fieldbus experience
