Hardware Debug Technician

Yoh has a 12 month contract opportunity for a HARDWARE DEBUG TECHNICIAN to join our client in Tacoma, WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hardware Debug Technician will be responsible for PERFORMING HARDWARE TESTING in a rapid and effective manner.
- Hardware Debug Technician will be responsible for DEBUGGING HARDWARE as issues arise.
- Hardware Debug Technician will MEASURE, COLLECT AND RECORD OPERATING AND TEST RESULT DATA.
- Hardware Debug Technician will be responsible for TROUBLESHOOTING AND DEBUGGING SYSTEM PROBLEMS AND ON-GOING MAINTENANCE OF THE SYSTEMS, EQUIPMENT DAILY MAINTENANCE, monitoring operations and overall area support.
- Other duties include, SUSTAINING OPERATIONS (INSERTING AND REMOVING CPU\'S), PERFORM SOLDERING, AND MAINTAIN GENERAL CLEANLINESS AND WIRE MANAGEMENT WITHIN THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A two (2) year technical degree or equivalent work experience is REQUIRED.
- Five plus (5+) years of experience in a COMPUTER SYSTEMS LAB conducting system building, testing and debugging.
- Knowledge and experience using Cadence CAD and Schematic Entry tools, and Allegro viewer.
- Able to operate test equipment including MULTI METERS, DVM, ANALYZERS and assorted hand tools.
- Experience in TESTING AND TROUBLESHOOTING ANALOG ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS to the component level preferred.
