Hands-on Java Manager for Cash Processing Syst. - NYC Bank 180k

My client, a major investment bank in New York City, is urgently looking to add a Managing Director to oversee the bank's multi-currency payment processing IT team. This is a very senior role and the person must have experience leading global teams. This senior director must still be familiar with and have recently worked with java technologies and they will be directly reporting into the global head of the bank. To qualify for this prestigious role, you must have: - 12+ years of IT experience - Hands on experience at a financial firm with java / j2ee - Exposure to open source technologies - Cash or payment processing experience is a must - Recently been managing a global IT team - Currently at the VP or MD level is highly preferred - Excellent communicator This person will be managing the global multi-currency payment processing team, so they must have prior experience in a similar environment in a major financial firm.
