My client based in Wiltshire is urgently looking for a hands-on IT Manager for an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead the building of a service management environment to help support their growing number of hosting and managed service customers. There are 3 main components to this role: 1) Policy & procedures - you must be ITIL Certified. 2) Recruiting - you will be growing your team from 0 to 5 people over the next 6 months. 3) Technical expertise - Linux, VMWare, WebSphere Working within their small but rapidly growing geographically-spread team, the role would be home-based but would require regular meetings along M4 corridor or in Central London. There will be a 2-stage TELEPHONE INTERVIEW process next week, with a view to start the successful candidate on Monday 8th April.
