Major Ecommerce organisation is looking to hire a Hadoop Infrastructure Administrator to Develop & Implement a first-class Hadoop environment whilst mentoring and working alongside their in-house team in an Agile team.
Core skills for the role are:
- Experience of Building Hadoop Clusters (AWS/On Premises)
- Agile/Continuous Integration/Delivery
- Multiple VCS (git etc)/Schema Design/Automated Scripts & Tests
- Experience/knowledge of Linux, Scripting and Java
- Performance Tuning in relation to large data volumes
- Proven strong troubleshooter!
The role is initially 3 to 4 months and offers a great working environment on exciting new projects. The company is based in Cambridgeshire, easily commutable from surrounding counties including London.
