Command Description

Our client is working on a project to enable & improve Real Time decision making within flight operations using operational data. To enable the use of fixed amounts of data in a Real Time fashion, our client is using technologies from the Hadoop ecosystem. To Realize a true big data architecture.

We are looking for Big Data engineers to help them build this vision.

Candidates shouldering satisfy the Following Criteria:

2 years experience as Data Engineer

In-depth knowledge of - and experience with - the Hadoop ecosystem. Mentioned below for all technologies, experience in a production environment is expected.

Real experience building production applications with Apache Spark

Experience with columnar storage solutions like Apache HBase and/or Apache Cassandra, zoals knowledge about data modelling for columnar storage

Experience with Apache Kafka

Preferred:

o Experience with Spark Streaming

o Experience with Scala

Good communication skills. Must be capable to take the role of trainer/coach.
