We are looking for a number of talented Hadoop Data Development staff for a key client of ours, you will be conversant with all facets of the Hadoop Eco System. This role is one of the largest deployments in the UK.

The successful Developers will rely on the individual's previous experience, but t is also likely to introduce you to Opensource technologies in a fast paced environment. Working on the respective stream, you'll be part of a Scrum team (so Agile experience would be useful), working with the Scrum Master. Training will be provided (for the right candidates) and in exchange for some potential travel, you will be part of an assignment which is stretching the boundaries of my clients previous engagements.

The successful Developers will work within a Scrum team, and may be involved in development of new products and maintenance of existing products, you will also be carrying out development in accordance with the agreed requirements and development standards. Testing of products in accordance with the test strategy to ensure that they are fit for purpose.

An essential aspect of the role will be working with Scrum Team colleagues in examining packages of work and giving realistic timescales for completion. Completion of work within Sprints within agreed time, cost and quality criteria and ensuring progress is visible and accurate using ALM toolset. Ensuring within the Scrum Team environment that the management and control of problems and change within their area of responsibility meets the expectations of the Product Owner. The successful Developers will be contributing actively within the Scrum ceremonies that champion process improvement.
