Hadoop Developer - Java, Bigdata, Agile, TDD/BDD - London - Contract

HADOOP DEVELOPER - JAVA, BIGDATA, AGILE, TDD/BDD - LONDON - CONTRACT

We're looking for a highly experienced Developer with excellent experience working in BigData (Hadoop ecosystem, Map Reduce, Hive, Oozie, Falcon, Kafka, Flume), Java based in solid Agile (XP, KanBan, Lean, TDD/BDD) environments and generally a keen interest in technology.

The successful senior Hadoop Developer will have extensive experience in highly Agile environments and will have a strong knowledge of the various methodologies that fall under the term Agile (Scrum, KanBan, eXtreme Programming, Pair Programming, Lean, Continuous Integration, TDD, BDD etc..) as well as an appreciation for the DevOps culture.

The ideal candidate will have strong full stack knowledge in Java and will have worked on large scale, BigData (Hadoop ecosystem, Map Reduce, Hive, Oozie, Falcon, Kafka, Flume) web projects. You will have strong experience on the Back End working with NoSQL databases (Cassandra ideally but others are fine) and BigData knowledge (Hadoop ecosystem, Map Reduce), RESTful Web Services,
