Developer, with expertise in Big Data, is now required to join a leading financial services provider in Switzerland
To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance/solutions for work completion To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review.
To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
To be responsible for providing technical guidance/solutions
Skills:
Should have expertise in Big Data Ecosystems such as Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Zookeeper, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Cassandra, Oozie, Flume, Chukwa, Pentaho Kettle and Talend.
Experience in installing, configuring, testing Hadoop ecosystem components is required.
Should be capable to process large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data and supporting systems application architecture.
Should be able to assess business rules, collaborate with stakeholders and perform source-to-target data mapping, design and review.
Familiar with data architecture including data ingestion pipeline design, Hadoop information architecture, data modelling and data mining, machine learning and advanced data processing. Experience optimizing ETL workflows.
