My customer are recruiting an experienced Hadoop Developer with experience designing and implementing Big Data core platform The Hadoop Developer will have a strong understanding of Big Data techniques and Java Development skills.
Key requirements:
- Scala or Java, Agile/Scrum development essential
- Strong Hadoop development skills
-Design and Implement Big Data Core Platform components and services using Scala or Java in a Hadoop environment
- A strong understanding of Big Data techniques and hands-on experience of Hadoop/HDFS, and related tools such as Sqoop, Impala, Spark, Hive and Pig
- Experienced in Object Oriented Principles
- Agile/scrum/adaptive development methodologies
