Hadoop/Big Data Architect - Java 5/Spring/Hibernate/JSF (Richfaces)
A leading telecoms company based in Brussels are searching for an experienced Hadoop/Big Data Architect to help design, implement and drive a big data project. The Hadoop/Big Data Architect will provide in-depth reporting on multiple dimensions on large volumes of Real Time data (15K records/sec, 1bio records/day).
The Hadoop/Big Data Architect will define the architecture and technical design based on functional requirements and then co-ordinate the implementation of the project as a lead developer. During the architecture and design phases the Hadoop/Big Data Architect will provide practical proof of concepts to validate or invalidate technologies.
We are are searching for a Hadoop/Big Data Architect with good knowledge of Java 5, Spring, Hibernate and JSF (Richfaces). The Hadoop/Big Data Architect will also have experience with big data (classic RDBMS, data werehousing, analytics, map/reduce, hadoop, caching mechanisms, scalability issues). Finally Hadoop/Big Data Architect will need to have experience with (Datamodelling, RDBMS theory, map/reduce, algorithm complexity, application design, scalability).
Essential Skills:-
- Good knowledge: Java 5/Spring/Hibernate/JSF (Richfaces)
- Experience with big data (classic RDBMS, Data Warehousing, analytics, map/reduce, Hadoop, caching mechanisms, scalability issues)
- In-depth understanding of the various parts of the architecture
- Good theoretical Computer Sciences bases (Datamodelling, RDBMS theory, map/reduce, algorithm complexity, application design, scalability)
