One of my market leading clients in Eindhoven is urgently seeking a HADOOP ARCHITECT for a long-term contract paying excellent rates. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

THE HADOOP ARCHITECT WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- 10+ years of experience in relevant business and/or IT roles;
- Big Data Hadoop architect with software engineering back-ground
- Full working knowledge of SQL. Ability to identify and translate use cases into Hadoop.
- Experience with Cloudera Hadoop distribution. Preferably Cloudera Manager and - Navigator, HUE, Impala (MUST), Solr and Kudu (MUST)
- Technical Leading Skill.
- Architectural frameworks like TOGAF and describing architecture with ArchiMate.

- Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
- Work independently;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and proficiency in the English language;

THE HADOOP ARCHITECT WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You are responsible for creating, maintaining and improving the Hadoop architecture for our Central Data Lake on Hadoop.
- Experienced in working in development teams, using agile techniques.
- As Hadoop architect you will be setting guidelines for our big data development teams, create and discuss designs with our business information analysts and developers.
