Hadoop Architect

Dutch & English speaking Hadoop Architect is required to join a financial organisation in Utrecht on a long term contract. My client are working on its Data Architecture 2020. It is mainly focused towards creating a managed data environment for all its customer data. This data will be used for all kinds of application internally as well as externally.

As an hands-on application architect/business analyst (Marketing subject area) you take care of requirements gathering, architecting and building hands-on Big Data solutions. You will work in multi-disciplinary DevOps team.

Our client is looking for someone who is experienced with Big Data Architectures, Hadoop, Micro-Services.
You must have hands-on experience in these environments and have done the job before.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement date lake based on Cloudera
- Advise on architectural solutions
- Involved in realisation of Data Lake
- Give input on experiments
- Realise data logistic environment with HDF (Hortonworks)

You must have hands-on experience in these environments and have done the job before.
Hands-on skills required: Hadoop (Hive, HBase, Solr), Hortonworks HDF (Apache Nifi), Node.Js with Loopback and Swagger.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Cloudera 5.8.3
- HDF-2.1.2.0-10
- REST API (Open API)
- NodeJS (Loopback Framework)
- Experience with Docker is a preference
- Oracle API Management
- Informatica/Power Center 9.01 
- Power Center XML,
- DataModeling (more than 2 years of experience)
- Oracle 11g,
- SQL (at least 2 years of experience).
- XML,
- Experience in the open source world (Hadoop)
