HADOOP ADMINISTRATOR

Experis IT Switzerland is searching for an experienced Hadoop Administrator to join one of their clients, a leading consulting company. For this TEMPORARY assignment we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available in a short notice and ready to work on-site in Zürich.

YOUR PROFILE:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or computer system information
- At least 5+ years of IT experienc
- Excellent knowledge of Hadoop2.0+ and related Hadoop ecosystem components
- Hands-on Hadoop/Cloudera administration expertise and backed by relevant certifications.
- Good experience in operating big clusters, IT infrastructures including incident management and Hadoop troubleshooting
- At least 2+ years of experience in Hadoop (If not, then must have solid IT background in either Linux administration or DBA minimum 5 years' experience)
- Strong background in DevOps
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of core Hadoop services including HIVE, IMPALA, Spark, Kafka, Solr
- Sound knowledge of Linux/Unix, distributed computing and networks and network security
- Must have Hadoop Admin Certification - CCA (CCA Administrator Certification)

LOCATION: Zürich

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: 1 year with possibility of extension
