GUI INTERFACE DEVELOPER

KEY SKILLS:

- University degree with minimum 1 years' experience in IT OR non-university degree with minimum 2 years' experience in IT;
- Proven experience in designing graphical user interfaces in web projects
- Proven experience of implementing GUI guidelines in web applications
- Experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Designer
- Proven knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript and AJAX techniques
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for creating/editing images for the Web
- Proven experience working with cross browser compatibility
- Experience the GUI implementation on mobile devices is advantageous
- Experience with the tools used by ECDC is advantageous:
- Visual Studio
- Team Foundation Server
- ASP.NET
- MS SQL Reporting Services
- MS SharePoint/MSSharePoint Designer
- MS Dynamics CRM

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and implementation of user interfaces taking into account user ergonomics and      usability for systems developed by the section;
- Implementation of a graphical user interface as specified and according to ECDC standards      and guidelines;
- Ensure that a user interface works well in a predefined set of browsers and versions of      browsers;
- Develop documentation including help text, report samples, and screen samples;
- Create/find new GUI components/images when no such component exists previously.
- Report to the head of the .NET development group.
