Group Vendor Risk Manager

My client, a leading financial services institution requires a high level interim in the Vendor Risk Management space of the Procurement function to deliver a 6 month piece of work.

Previous VRM experience essential.

Role Spec:

- Design and implement common and consistent Vendor Risk Management (VRM) Procedures and Processes to effectively manage vendor risk in accordance with VRM FIM and local Regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Business/user departments, the Regional Vendor Risk Managers local Procurement and other stakeholders to ensure requirements of VRM are understood and monitor compliance with VRM FIM and Local VRM Procedures, in dealings with vendors for the supply of goods and services.
- Develop and introduce a structured internal governance process supported by an appropriate communication and training plan to facilitate the effective and timely implementation of VRM with Group and/or global businesses.
- Drive coordinated and consistent VRM, procedures and best practice in the management of the ongoing relationship with Vendors with Group
- Produce a monthly VRM MI report to the Group Head of VRM that accurately reflects the Vendor risk profile for Group agreements, evidences the effective management of vendor risk and to highlight any high risk contracts to senior management.
- Represent VRM within the Group/global business and act as the focal point with Subject Matter Experts locally, such as ORIC, ISR, Compliance and HTS IC, and work as part of a global VRM team.
- Responsible for VRM 2 LoD activity, agree plans with ORIC and regional VRC managers and manage activities to ensure effective management and oversight of vendor risk.
