GROUP TALENT AND TRAINING ADVISOR

Our client a leading Global Oil Provider has a fantastic long-term contract opportunity for an experienced Talent Advisor responsible for developing and delivering the Group training calendar to meet the formal training needs of UK based staff. This includes overseeing the delivery of ad-hoc courses as required. Working with HR Operations to identify and develop talent management solutions that ensure business needs are met. Working with the HR Operations to develop and implement group frameworks including competency and career development. Working with HRBP's to ensure a consistent global approach to talent management.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for managing the Group training calendar and ensuring that the expenditure stays within budget
- Partner HR Operations on all talent management related matters including performance management, team and individual development, management development, etc.
- Work with the Group Talent Manager to develop and deliver consistent Group development initiatives, eg Leadership, Management, Team and Employee Development
- Ensure Talent Management activity is globally known and publicised
- Work with functional leads and HR Operations to ensure the delivery and use of technical competence maps, with clear links to skills/learning, formal and on-the-job learning
- Work with function leads and HR Operations to ensure the implementation and use of Career Development Frameworks
- Responsibility for the development and deployment of the Performance Management process, system, and working with the local HR teams on the engagement of all employees with a performance management culture
- Work alongside Subject Matter Expert's, support the design and development of eLearning packages
- Work with the HR Operations to ensure consistent global use of Talent Management Systems (TMS and LMS)
- Support HR Operations to identify and meet the development needs of all London based employee's

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 3 to 5 years experience in similar role
- Good facilitation skills
- Preferred areas of expertise:

o Talent Management experience in a multinational company
o Knowledge of Performance Management, People Development, Career Development
o Background in Petroleum or manufacturing sectors advantageous
