GROUP SOLVENCY II ANALYST - FINANCIAL SERVICES/INSURANCE - LONDON

GROUP SOLVENCY II ANALYST role for FTSE100 FINANCIAL SERVICES company based in LONDON. This is a contract role that will be paying £400-450. This newly created role will enable the successful applicant to make a significant impact on the Group Solvency II and reinsurance accounting. You will be a proactive member of the team in a business facing capacity, enabling you to build significant relationships across all levels of the Group.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Supporting the Finance and Reinsurance team in its response to Solvency II requirements.
- The production and delivery of Solvency II RI reporting requirements.
- Providing technical support to various Solvency II work stream leaders in delivering their Solvency II projects within the group.
- Providing accounting support to the Reinsurance team from ground upwards.
- Coordinating with key Group stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements can be met.
- Supporting the implementation of new systems and taking part in dry runs. Including leading the roll out and review of new systems.
- Acting as a Finance Business Partner to the group.

REQUIREMENTS

- Ideally Part Qualified (with intention to qualify) or Qualified accountant (or equivalent).
- Previous financial accounting experience is essential.
- Previous experience within Reinsurance very advantageous, Financial Services also advantageous.
- A strong understanding of PRU and Solvency II regulations would be advantageous.
