Group Reporting Manager - US GAAP

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking to engage with an Interim Group Reporting Manager (US GAAP) for a US Listed Business based in Oxfordshire.

The Role

- Technical US GAAP and IFRS knowledge gained from either practice and/or application in a commercial environment
- Ability to resolve technical queries/issues and communicate those solutions in an easy to understand manner
- Experience of audit process for a large/complex organisation
- Involvement in project-type work relating to US GAAP (potentially in the form of an IPO)
- Work through technical accounting differences between US GAAP and FRS101 in a practical and efficient manner
- Support the set-up and roll out of US GAAP/IFRS Conversion Checklists and Questionnaires
- Prepare workbooks, training manuals and roll out to stat accounts preparers ahead of 2014 accounts preparation.

The Profile

- Qualified accountant
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP, IFRS and FRS101) and experience of resolving technical questions and issues
- External audit experience (preferably in large multi-national environment)
- Structured and organised approach to tasks
- Ability to build relationships across wide range of stakeholders

The Company

- Based in Oxford
- Salary £400-£600 per day via Ltd Co.
- 3-6 months
