Group Reporting Manager - IFRS Project

GROUP REPORTING MANAGER - IFRS/UK GAAP

We are currently looking to a recruit a senior group reporting manager to help improve and deliver reporting at a group level. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large insurance company in the city and help improve their monthly/Quarterly reporting as well as a number of other project/BAU activities.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

- Qualified Accountant
- 5-10 years post qualified experience within Financial Services including IFRS/UK GAAP.
- Acted in advisory capacity to Senior Finance Management and Directors
- Tax knowledge/experience is desirable but not essential

KNOWLEDGE:

- Excellent knowledge of financial services legislation, regulation and accounting.
- Market, financial risk and business awareness
- IFRS/UK GAAP
- Interviewing, appraisal techniques/processes and performance development management.
- Knowledge of budget processes.
- Knowledge of products and services.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Ability to manage a team.
- Able to instigate and implement change
- Able to develop and share a vision of the future to meet the business vision
- Strong liaison with other business areas to agree joint strategy
- Takes initiative without need for approval.
