Group Reporting Manager

We are currently seeking a Group Reporting Manager to join our Consumer Finance team in New Malden for a 4 month contract. The role will have a focus on using Open Accounts for reconciliations and improving processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

AN OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN OUR CONSUMER FINANCE TEAM. THIS WILL BE A FOUR MONTH PLACEMENT WHICH WILL INVOLVE:

- Reconciling monthly group reporting to site level
- Validating existing excel models for month end reporting and ad-hoc reporting
- Interrogating and reconciling Open Accounts information and correcting in system where applicable
- Restating Open Accounts information for a number of prior year restatements and known variances
- Improving month end process by simplifying existing process that involves multiple spreadsheets and has minimal reconciliations to accounting system
- Simplify reporting database/information

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

- Diligent manner and attention to detail is crucial
- Excel - advanced skills and ability to build self-checking reconciliations' in models
- Knowledge of Open Accounts:
- Simple report building

The ideal is a person who enjoys accurately inputting data in a system and wants to own that (along with understanding a simple month end process).
