Group Leader Quality Control and Analytics, Pharma, Switzerland

An internationally recognised Pharmaceutical manufacturer based in a commutable distance from both Basel or Zurich are seeking a new Group Leader for their Quality Control and Analytics department.

The firm are on of Switzerlands most recognised companies, seen on billboard posters, TV advertisments and sponsorship deals. They have an impecable name in the market place for high service, quality and technical specialisation. Their training is known to be an industry leader, and the only reason for the position being created was through growth.

The primary responsibilities of the candidate will include:

-The implementation, organisation and supervision of analysis for the release of products
-The development and validation of analytical instruments
-Management of three technicians
-The creation of quality related documents and all documentation according to cGMP and ISO standards

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or MSc in Chemistry and have worked for a number of years in analytical chemistry laboratory. Chromatographic methds such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS and GC are important to know, and fluency in both English and German will complete your profile.
