The laboratory groups at Catalent Research Triangle Park (RTP) are responsible for the support of pharmaceutical product development in a range of dosage forms both directly with customers and in collaboration with other Catalent facilities. This includes formulation development, structural chemistry, analytical support, and clinical trials material manufacturing. JOB SUMMARY: Plans, conducts and directs scientific work on complex projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches. Plans and directs projects and supplies technical inspiration, leadership and consultation to professional co-workers. May represent the organization in outside discussions and technical forums. Generally works with latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively participates in the creation, introduction of, or reducing to practice innovative technologies or work processes. Champion improvements to operations or work practices with Divisional or site-wide impact. Serve as single point of contact for projects that span groups or Divisions. Collaborate with supervisory peers to execute projects spanning the Division, site or other Catalent sites. Evaluate and advise on individual development plans and objectives, ensuring these align with group and Division business needs. Achieve group performance for key metrics, including financial and other operational measures. Identify new or modified offerings based on advanced or emerging technologies or changing industry needs.
