Group Grants and Funding Advisor

My client a leading engineering/utilities company is looking for Grant/fund advisor to join there team.

6 month contract with option to go perm 150 a day

Location: London

Engage with the CITB on a strategic level and communicate our expectations of CITB through the development of a Partnership Plan

In consultation with the Group business units and Group training team produce a Group training forecast to predict and track training spend and funding receipts for the year

Standardise training records across the Group in line with CITB evidence requirements for grants

Maximise engagement, support and grant from CITB on a national and local level

Work with CITB to achieve funding from application funding pots for new development programmes

Promote CITB initiatives across the Group and to sub-contractors and develop a strategy with CITB to ensure that discretionary elements are included within the forecasting template

Maximise involvement in the piloting of new CITB products and services

Review external trends to ensure that the Group training team incorporates new methodology in a cost effective productive method, ie E-learning

Maintain positive relationships with CITB. Ensuring that any actions/support promised by our business units/CITB is delivered - therefore acting as direct liaison and monitoring the progress of all such activities

Work with other organisations such as CECA, NUCCG etc. to tap into other funding pools and access relevant subsidised training

- Undertake any reasonable duties that may arise
- Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management
- Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements and speak up for safety
- Participate in team/business meetings as necessary
