Group Financial Accountant

Our client provides a service to private and public sectors and provides them with all the amenities required to carry out their roles and tasks. Currently taking on new exciting projects our client requires a Group Financial Accountant to be based in Abingdon on a 3 Month contract, our client is offering a day rate of up to £270.

The successful candidate will prepare the financial statements for our client and compile the financial information that will be required for this process. You will also support the group reporting manager with Adhoc request for information during the year end process. You will work within the team, gaining excellent understanding of our client and liaising with various staff within the teams to obtain the information required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare the clients financial statements and other subsidiary financial statements as appropriate
- Collation of financial information from various sources in order to meet the above deliverable
- Prepare Adhoc analysis of year on year financial information as requested by management
- Liaising with auditors to address their queries or refer them to the relevant person

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
- At least 3 years experience of working within a group finance function or in professional practice
- Solid background in statutory reporting including knowledge of IFRS
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Intermediate - Advanced skill in Excel
