Group Accountant/Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant/Financial Accountant to join a leading telecommunications company in London (West London).

This is a contract role which needs an immediate start so you must be available to start within the next two weeks (Mid December 2012). The contract length is initially 7 months so you must be able to commit.

As Group Accountant/Financial Accountant you will be assisting with year-end reporting working at group level.

Responsibilities:-
- Consolidation of year-end Financials
- Share Option accounting
- Cashflow
- Working alongside auditors

This roles requires the following:-
- Ability to demonstrate and give strong examples of when you have prepared and consolidated group

accounts.
- UK GAAP knowledge.
- ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
- Worked within a PLC company
- Strong understanding of auditing requirements and ideally previously worked with a "top 4" accountancy firm (KPMG, Deloitte etc) when preparing year end accounts.

This position needs the successful candidate to 'hit the ground running' as the team are extremely busy and support is needed as soon as possible.
