GRIND MACHINIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in NORTH HODGES, SC

- Prior machining experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Plans and schedules machine usage.
- Sets up, programs and performs required operations on assigned machines.
- Monitors equipment operation to ensure proper and safe working condition.
- Identifies, troubleshoots and diagnoses operational and quality problems in assigned area(s) of production.
- Cleans and performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs and adjustments of assigned equipment.
- Assists with operational improvements and new process developments as requested.
- Maintains and/or assists in maintaining supply inventory; orders supplies and parts as needed.
- Prepares various logs and records to document machine operation and daily production; enters required data into computer.
- Uses computer and industrial supplies, hand tools, electrodes, etc.
- Maintains safe, clean and orderly work areas.
- Receives, reviews, and/or refers to various records and reports including labor sheets, inspection sheets, Router forms, Material Safety Data Sheets, GSP book, maintenance records, shipping lists, status reports, etc.
- Prepares non-conformance forms, operating instructions, inventory records, purchase requisitions, etc.
- Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals including the immediate supervisor, coworker's, other plant personnel
- Operates a forklift, grinders, micrometers, gauges, calipers, welding equipment various power tools, computer, etc.
- Performs related duties as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
