Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Experience with Medi-Cal or Medicare in a managed care environment.
- Strong communication skills (oral and writing).
What You'll Be Doing:
- Research grievances and appeals for all lines of business ensuring compliance with client's Grievance and Appeals policies and procedures.
- Maintain grievance and appeals logs and case files in electronic data base.
- Communicate with members and send acknowledgement and resolutions letters timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Two (2) years of experience working with Medi-Cal or Medicare in a managed care environment.
- Experience working in call center and/or claims department.
- Knowledge of computers, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- HEALTH Suite is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
