Graphics Software Validation Engineer

Our client is a SUPER HIGH-VISIBILITY COMPUTER COMPONENTS BRAND seeking a SOFTWARE VALIDATION ENGINEER to work on GRAPHICS DRIVER VALIDATION for Windows-based OS (current and future versions).

This candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Graphics Driver Validation (emphasis on Media component) including (but not limited to) test development, execution and debugging of issues.

REQUIREMENTS

- Graphics Driver knowledge especially in the Media side
- Experience with Microsoft standard APIs Direct3D, DXVA
- OS Knowledge (WIN7, Vista, XP)
- System setup and tear downs (Mobile and Desktop)
- Strong C/C++ code development skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong discipline in all activities

NICE TO HAVE

- Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), generating reports/charts/graphs
- Solid working knowledge of modern PC architecture
- Experience with debugging tools such as WinDbg, Visual Studio debugger, etc.
- Experience in installing and configuring modern PC BIOS's and Windows operating systems with a variety of common peripherals (for example, memory, PCI cards and USB devices, and multimedia software and/or hardware)
- Experience with Microsoft SDK's, PC benchmarks, and diagnostic utilities
- Experience with Microsoft WHQL certification testing of device drivers using WLK test
