Graphic Designer Part Time

* ROLE WILL BE 10-15 HOURS/WEEK WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF MORE IF NEEDED.*

* Remote work is preferred.*

Our high-visibility client is seeking a highly motivated person with proven design solutions and an online portfolio that shows you have an excellent eye for graphic design, including: color, layout, typography, and illustration. You will be responsible for delivering fun, high-quality, on-brand, scalable graphic solutions in a timely manner by iterating on existing creative work and contributing to the direction of future designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design marketing and promotional materials across email, mobile, web, print and social media
- Use marketing and business requirements to assist in developing compelling designs
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Illustrators, and other creative team members
- Present work to marketing and business stakeholders for review and feedback

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great visual design solutions is a requirement for application
- 1-3 years of experience as a Graphic or Visual Designer
- Proficiency in appropriate design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks
- Experience interacting on a collaborative team and working directly with stakeholders to implement designs
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or visual communications, or equivalent professional experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in merchandising graphics for E-commerce or retail industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Fluency in best practices for web-based graphic and illustration
- An innovative spirit and a sense of humor
