Graphic Designer

Our client is a hugely popular Northwest company seeking a Graphic Designer for a premium contract opportunity. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic person who works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline driven atmosphere. S/He must have a strong individual sense of aesthetics and be able to bring stylish, elevated ideas to the table.

All potential candidates must provide a strong portfolio, demonstrate excellent visual design and print ready file creation and have the ability to turn the creative concepts into high-quality and on-brand graphic deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with account managers, peers and leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic solutions to build a superior vendor, as well as customer, experience.
- Produce, graphics, templates, layouts, DVD menus, vendor proofs and visual standards for customer facing DVD and CD physical assets.
- Provide and manage design documentation and specifications.
- Proactively manage time and deadlines.
- Report daily and weekly metrics on completed projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in designing for print
- Design degree preferred, 4-year college degree required
- Demonstrated proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office
- Mastery of the principals of design, color theory, typography and graphics file creation optimized for print and video
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and self-prioritize

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with illustration and motion graphics a plus
- Background in the print or video industries

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
