Grants Officer

Eden Brown are delighted to be working in partnership with Zoe's Place Baby Hospice to recruit for a Grants Officer. Zoe's place is a charitable organisation who provide palliative, respite and end of life care for children aged 0-5 years, with life limiting and life threatening conditions.

This role is for a period of 12 months with a view to an extension. The successful applicant will identify and research new and existing grants and charitable trust opportunities and should develop strong relationships to inspire and inform funders. They should present a compelling case for support of their work through their written and verbal communication. Main duties will include; Identify and develop potential funding applications, research and collate information, draft and submit applications on behalf of the trust and act as the point of contact throughout the process.

The post is based in Middlesbrough however will raise funds for 3 hospices located in Liverpool, Coventry and Middlesbrough therefore there will be some travel from time to time.

Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in writing applications to Grant Making Bodies. Proven experience of communicating complex concepts to a wide range of audiences. Proven success in writing applications to grant making bodies and awareness of the charity sector is is also desirable.
